Veronika Tharaldsen, born in 1997, trains and competes at Wulfing Academy — the Tommy Langaker-anchored competition room that has become one of the more visible Norwegian patches on the European IBJJF circuit. At purple belt she has put together two European campaigns: 2023 and again at the 2026 European Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship.
Domestically she is a regular on the Scandinavian calendar — Oslo Open BJJ Summer 2024, the Wulfing Julerull, and the steady mid-tier tournaments that keep coloured-belt competitors sharp between trips to Lisbon.
Off the mats she works at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), the kind of full-time professional life that makes a sustained European IBJJF schedule at purple belt a genuine logistical achievement. Inside Wulfing she is part of the second wave of competitors who give the team its strength beyond its headline names.
