Eirik Veivåg Tveit

A Haugesund black belt at Wulfing Academy, named as a student by Bergen Grappling's Eivind Windsrygg, with a lineage traced through Tommy Langaker.

Biography

Eirik Veivåg Tveit is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt based in Haugesund, Norway, where he is listed with Wulfing Academy. The rank comes from his member profile on BJJ Beltchecker, where it is marked as verified by the community. Eivind Windsrygg, a third-degree black belt at Bergen Grappling, names Tveit on his own Beltchecker profile as one of his students and as someone he has promoted. Windsrygg has trained in martial arts since 1991, helped start the club in 2005 and teaches BJJ and submission wrestling there. Bergen Grappling describes itself as the first sports club in Bergen to offer grappling and BJJ. The lineage on Tveit's own profile follows a different branch, from Carlos Gracie through Hélio Gracie, Carlson Gracie, André Pederneiras, Jair Lourenço and José Carlos to Tommy Langaker, and on to Tveit. Langaker, a grappler from Haugesund, represents Wulfing Academy as well as Kimura/Nova União under José Carlos, and took the middleweight title at the 2023 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship. Tveit also coaches: Beltchecker has given him its badge for a coach with confirmed students, and his profile shows belt promotions he has awarded.
