Stine Brosche, née Hegre, has been teaching yoga since around 2008 and previously ran her own studio in Oslo before co-founding Yoga for BJJ in 2013 with her husband Sebastian Brosche. The platform that grew out of that decision is now one of the most recognised cross-training brands in the global BJJ world.
Yoga for BJJ has more than 99,000 Instagram followers, a library of 500-plus online yoga and mobility classes, and a set of certification courses that have brought instructors into the system from every region of the sport. Most major academies in the world now run Yoga for BJJ content as part of their preparation rhythm — usually without realising the Norwegian half of the founding team taught the first sessions.
She is the practitioner whose work made a Norwegian-born platform part of the daily warm-up of an international jiu-jitsu population.
