Jason Shields holds one of the most stacked Master-division résumés on the Norwegian BJJ map. His count — seven IBJJF Master European Championships in gi, five in no-gi, two Master Worlds titles in gi and one in no-gi — places him among the most decorated Norwegian-resident competitors of his generation in the Master brackets.
His technical line is unusually deep: black belt under Ricardo Liborio, Eduardo 'Teta' Rios and André 'Fievel' Carvalho — effectively the three primary nodes of the Frontline Brazilian instructor network in Norway. He is co-founder of Frontline Academy Voss, anchoring the western Norwegian branch of the Frontline system.
Off the mat, he is a doctor of chiropractic who advises World Champions and Olympic athletes, layering a serious sports-medicine career on top of an active competitive life. For Frontline Voss, his presence is the practical bridge between Oslo-area expertise and a small-town western Norwegian academy.
