Daniel Amundsen

A Wulfing Academy jiu-jitsu competitor who climbed from white belt to purple on IBJJF podiums, placing third at the 2025 Pan, European and World No-Gi.

Biography

Daniel Amundsen is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitor who represents Wulfing Academy in Haugesund, Norway, an academy whose main coach and co-owner is Tommy Lilleskog Langaker. His podium finishes at International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) events trace his progress from white belt in 2023 to purple belt, and in 2025 he placed third at the Pan, European and World No-Gi Championships, which are contested without the traditional jacket, or gi. In 2023, competing at white belt under the team name OXY, he took second place in the juvenile featherweight division at the IBJJF European Championship. In September of that year he was also runner-up in the under-70 kg youth division at the ADCC European, Middle East and African Championship in Warsaw. At blue belt in 2024, still under the OXY name, he won the featherweight division at the Dublin International Open and placed third at featherweight in both the European and the World No-Gi Championships. His three third places in 2025 all came in the purple belt featherweight division. He competed for OXY at the Pan No-Gi and for Wulfing Academy at the European and World No-Gi. For the two Milan International Opens in 2026 he moved up from featherweight to lightweight, competing at purple belt for Wulfing Academy. He placed third in the gi event and second in the no-gi event.
