Silje Wahl competes out of Sarpsborg Chi MMA, part of the Frontline Academy network in eastern Norway, and has built a competition profile that crosses straight from BJJ into MMA. Her ADCC Nordic Open 2020 silver in Women Intermediate -60 kg is the clearest sport-jiu-jitsu line on the record, a serious result at a serious Nordic open.
On the MMA side she is a Sherdog-listed featherweight, with the kind of fight record that places her in the small group of Norwegian women who have actually crossed from coloured-belt BJJ into pro MMA competition rather than staying inside the sport-grappling lane.
Earlier outings at the ADCC Norway Open 2018 in the women's beginner divisions and at the 2022 Oslo Open BJJ Summer fill in the standard regional schedule that has fed the rest of her career — a domestic ladder that, in her case, hasn't stopped at the gi.
