Lorena De Andrade

Lorena De Andrade reviewed her Paris kids title bout immediately with her father and coach.

Biography

In April 2023, Lorena De Andrade's jiu-jitsu training at Saint-Jean included adults for greater challenges. Youth coach Chris Vangu recalled a points defeat against a black belt and praised her determination. Paris would match opponents by age, weight and belt. Le Journal de Saint-Barth's May report followed her first mainland visit. Two years into BJJ, she trained three times weekly and had won in Guadeloupe. Paris's scale was unfamiliar. During her two-girl French kids title bout, Nicolas Harmange called for head pressure. She followed his cue, choosing speed to conserve energy and winning with a familiar strangle. They immediately reviewed her father's phone footage. Harmange praised her handshake. Both wanted more matches; an autumn US competition was planned.
