Linus von Schrenk

Biography

Linus von Schrenk played football before Rocky inspired a boxing ambition at twelve. His parents objected, but UFC footage led him to seek training in Berlin. Describing Brazilian jiu-jitsu to taz in December 2024, he emphasized anticipating opponents' reactions: physical chess, with techniques to study for life. In 2023 he prepared for the European ADCC Trials at Jason Rau's US academy, alongside coach Dima Murovanni and Jozef Chen. In that interview, he called his Las Vegas world title purple-belt heavyweight. He trained professionally and fought for pay without earning a living. Tutorials and self-promotion offered possible income; he wanted a BJJ career and could imagine life in America.
