Juan Pablo Vallone

Vallone accompanied Mendoza athletes taking their first competitive steps.

Biography

Weekend hockey teaching in Malargüe brought support for a course in Buenos Aires, where Vallone discovered BJJ, he told Mendoza Post in 2016. He fitted personal training, courses, faculty-assistant duties and private gym lessons around his own practice. Welcomes at two Brazilian academies renewed his motivation; he hoped to develop a socially useful project. He left roller hockey for studies. His 2016 Team 360 routine paired four-hour days with shared Saturdays and planned meals, supported by Melisa. Selling his Escort funded São Paulo; he credited Raúl Núñez after a reported master featherweight title. Sitio Andino sponsored Córdoba; he wanted sporting effort recognized beyond car-sale headlines. In 2018 he described daily training emerging after eight or nine months, and progress taking years. He had sold tarts in 2015 and traveled overnight by bus to compete. Still a purple belt, he saw black belt as a longer-term goal. A 2017 visit to Cícero Costha’s academy ended with an invitation to return for training with black belts. By 2023, the physical-education teacher described practicing BJJ, submission, BJJ Combat with ground slaps, and boxing. His goals were to compete, improve conditioning and enjoy training, guided by love of the activity, determination and discipline. He distinguished appearances already made from plans for Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Brazil and boxing, while criticizing limited support and financial demands. Ecos Diarios reported him supporting developing Mendoza athletes in 2025 as a promoter and teacher, returning with eight after three the previous year. He praised the lodging, gym, prizes and seminar provided through his friend Mauricio Dolimpio’s event.
