Gabriel Figueiró is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Fábio Gurgel and one of the main coaches at the Alliance academy's Rio de Janeiro headquarters, alongside Figueiró's own instructor, Gurgel. As a competitor, Figueiró made his biggest impact in the sport at the lower belt levels, winning several important tournaments before transitioning to a coaching role where he helped develop athletes such as Erich Munis, Isaque Bahiense, and others who went on to earn significant achievements on the mat.
