Brandon Naude

Brandon Naude hoped to combine technique and mentorship in a youth gym in 2025.

Biography

Brandon Naude’s childhood fascination with Ninja Turtles took him to a gym near home. Recalling that journey in the Boksburg Advertiser in June 2025, he described techniques that were difficult to learn and moments when progress seemed impossible. Training dictated his daily schedule; partners shared setbacks and celebrated milestones, while the work taught him patience. His black belt came that June after a reported 21 years, and the award surprised him. He hoped to pass on more than technique through a welcoming gym for young people, with mentorship central to his plan.
