Biography

Ana Talita de Oliveira Alencar is a Brazil-born black-belt jiu-jitsu competitor and UFC fighter who won gi and no-gi world titles while representing GF Team and Alliance at different stages. Her competition record is drawn chiefly from the IBJJF's published results. For GF Team, she won the featherweight divisions at the 2014 American Nationals and No-Gi Worlds as a purple belt. At brown belt, she placed third at the 2015 No-Gi Worlds, took featherweight silver and open-class bronze at the 2016 Pan championship, and won light featherweight at the 2016 gi Worlds. Later that year she won the black-belt featherweight division at the No-Gi Worlds for Alliance. The two 2016 world titles were at different belts and in different formats. Competing for Alliance at black belt, Alencar won light featherweight at the 2017 Pan and gi Worlds. At the No-Gi Worlds that year, she won featherweight and took bronze in the open class. She was runner-up in light featherweight at both the 2018 Pan and gi Worlds. In 2019 she won featherweight and the open class at the European No-Gi championship, then another featherweight No-Gi world title. She took light-featherweight silver at the 2020 European gi championship. Alencar won the 2021 No-Gi Worlds featherweight division for American Combat Gym. In a 2021 interview, she said she had prepared for mixed martial arts for almost two years and that meeting coach Charles McCarthy helped her decide to switch sports. She later recalled moving from California to Florida while traveling to compete and teach jiu-jitsu seminars. Her September 2023 UFC Contender Series bout ended in a draw. She won the 2024 Pan No-Gi featherweight division for Temple Jiu-Jitsu. At UFC BJJ 1 in 2025, she lost a grappling match by unanimous decision. As of October 2026, the UFC lists her as a women's strawweight fighter under the name Talita Alencar, with Team Reis & M80 Wrestling as her MMA gym.
