Alice da Silva

Alice da Silva Akaki brought a school-swimming background to a jiu-jitsu career with Kobra Team in Jaru.

Biography

Before jiu-jitsu, Alice da Silva Akaki had swum for AABB/Kolping in Jaru, where she attended Padre Adolpho Kolping school. Her later training base was Kobra Team at Academia Hipegyim. She began jiu-jitsu training geared toward mixed martial arts in January 2025, under Jefferson Sapucaia and Yves Castro. Jaru Online described her August appearance in Ji-Paraná as her official competition debut. She won both bouts by submission, using a bow-and-arrow choke and an armbar. Afterward, she thanked the people who trained alongside her and supported her daily. At the 2025 Manaus Open, IBJJF recorded her first in adult female white-belt light feather, representing GF Team. Its Sul-Americano results listed her third in the same division that year. Gazeta de Alagoas also named her among Yasmim Sanae’s opponents at the tournament in Barueri. In December 2025, Rondônia Dinâmica reported another adult white-belt light-feather title in Porto Velho. It also said she was expected to receive her blue belt shortly, before completing a year of jiu-jitsu training. In June 2026, Rondônia Dinâmica reported her competing as a blue belt at Nova Brasilândia’s NBO Open. She won an open-weight belt, where competitors were not separated by weight, with an armbar against a larger opponent. The report also credited her with light-feather and no-gi wins, the latter in competition without the traditional jacket. In October 2026, she competed at the Brasileiro Norte in Vilhena with Kobra Team Jaru and Hype Gym, under Jefferson Sapucaia and Wesllem Pinheiro. A team report credited her with wins in the 64kg gi division and gi open-weight, both by rear-naked choke.
