Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiteen

Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiteen competed alongside his brother, Zaid, in Dubai, Cairo and Istanbul in 2023.

Biography

By 2023, Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiteen was competing internationally with his brother, Zaid. An Arab Times report that October followed their wins through Dubai, Cairo and Istanbul during September and October. In April 2025, KUNA reported his under-12 golds in Doha, in both gi and no-gi. Mohammad Al-Sulaiteen, the brothers’ father, told Al Anba that several years of training lay behind their medals. The following month, KUNA reported another under-12 gold at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. For Mohammad, the achievement belonged to Kuwait as well as his family. He expressed pride in his sons and called for continued support for jiu-jitsu athletes and competitors in other sports. Al Jarida’s June 1 report then placed Abdulaziz in Bishkek for the Central Asia competition, crediting him with gold in both formats: gi, using the training jacket, and no-gi, without it. Zaid’s results were reported separately.
